Begonia

Family: Begoniaceae

Begonia is an extraordinarily large and diverse genus of tropical plants. In the wild they display a wide range of sizes, shapes, and flower forms. The diversity of cultivars is perhaps even more impressive. Begonias have been bred with incredible variation in leaf size and shape, leaf coloration, flower form, and flower colors. Many cultivars are easy to grow indoors or in greenhouses, and many are excellent annual bedding plants.
