Spider plant (Chlorophytum comosum)

Family: Agavaceae

One of the world's most popular houseplants, the spider plant is easy to grow under difficult conditions. Most often planted in hanging baskets, it grows surprisingly well with poor lighting and unreliable watering. Its pendant flowering stalks produce plantlets, making the spider plant very easy to propagate.
