Spider flower (Cleome hassleriana)

Family: Cleomaceae

Cleome is an easy to grow and rewarding annual for low-maintenance gardens. The flowering stalks are graceful and add an interesting texture to the flowering border. Unfortunately they are not suitable as cut flowers because the foliage and flowers have a strong, unappealing scent.
