Ipomoea is a very diverse group of plants that includes many familiar garden plants. The most widely cultivated morning glory vine is Ipomoea tricolor, which is sky blue with magenta and white accents. That species, along with several other morning glories, are known for having flowers that open in the morning and wilt by mid-afternoon.
