Grape hyacinth (Muscari botryoides)

There are many species of grape hyacinth, but this is the most common in cultivation. It is an attractive spring-flowering perennial that forms mats of grasslike foliage and tight clusters of bright blue or white flowers. It grows well in perennial beds or in lawns.
