Garden Phlox (Phlox paniculata)

Garden Phlox, also called perennial Phlox, is a popular perennial for the summer flowering garden. It is native to the eastern United States but is now cultivated throughout the world. Many cultivars are available with a wide variety of flower colors including white, pink, purple, and red. Garden Phlox is susceptible to powdery mildew, so it should be thinned in late springtime and should not be overwatered.
