Plumbago auriculata, also called Cape leadwort, is native to southern Africa. It is popular in cultivation worldwide through tropical and subtropical zones. Plumbago is easy to grow and blooms through most of the year, pausing only during the winter. The most common from has sky-blue flowers, but a white-flowered variety is also available.
